Are you looking for a campsite with space, where your dog is welcome? You’re in the right place. We’ll be delighted to welcome your furry friend. Our campsite has been awarded a “3 out of 4 sniffs” QUALIDOG rating by French dog-friendly accommodation website EmmeneTonCien.com.
Dogs are allowed in our Premium category rentals (chalets) and on request in the other Confort and Eco categories (depending on the type of dog). The campsite will provide you with dog waste bags and a hose for bathing your dog.
There is no shortage of walks and hikes close to the campsite. Your dog can cool off in the Buëch river just a few hundred metres away and go on excursions with you. Remember to check which areas allow dogs, particularly during grazing season.
Your dog is your responsibility and should always be under your supervision and kept on a lead inside the campsite.
When out on hikes, watch out for grazing pastures. Lus-La-Croix-Haute council has introduced a municipal order prohibiting even leashed dogs from grazing pastures from 15 June to 15 September, for the safety of hikers and their dogs (see map). Information on late grazing pastures (from 15 September to 15 October) can be obtained from the Tourist Office.
